Identifying and Locating Unknown Heirs

Many times, Estate Administrators do not know or cannot determine who the correct maternal and paternal family members are. Our experienced genealogical investigators can expertly identify the decedent’s family and locate all of the unknown heirs. A detailed report is produced for the administrator with the names and addresses of all the heirs, genealogical charts, and certified documentation.

Confirming Information Regarding Heirs

Greed can be a very strong emotion, especially if there is a lot of money involved. Many times we have discovered heirs of a closer degree than those claiming the estate or additional heirs. It is unfortunate when family members “forget” about a previous marriage, estranged relative, or illegitimate child.

Affidavits and Due Diligence

Occasionally, even the best heir researchers cannot identify the unknown heirs. When necessary, a report of due diligence and/or an affidavit is produced to satisfy the legal requirements of the probate court.
